The MDE Study Program is increasingly strengthening itself to become a superior and international class Applied Undergraduate Study program by providing applied education that prioritizes the ethics of science and technology in the field of mechanical design engineering by 2025. This seriousness is reflected in the involvement of several lecturers in the creation of the Competency SCHEME which was held. by LSP-P1 Undip School in collaboration with BNSP. The event on Thursday, September 7 2023 was also attended by Mr. Mulyono as a representative from BNSP and Prof. Dr. Ir. Budiyono, M.Si as Dean of Undip Vocational School.
Prof. Dr. Ir. Budiyono, M.Si on this occasion said that every study program at the Undip Vocational School must be able to guarantee graduates through prototype and project based learning. On the same occasion, the Dean of the Undip vocational school also added that certification is part of quality assurance that MDE students are ready to work in the industrial world. “Certification is part of the quality assurance that MDE students are ready to work in the industrial world,” Budiono said in his statement on Thursday 7 September 2023.
To realize this good step, on this occasion the Mechanical Design Engineering Study Program at the UNDIP Vocational School is committed to producing 4 competency schemes simultaneously. The selection of this competency scheme was chosen by referring to the needs of the industrial world and the existing concentration in the MDE SV Undip study program. The four competency schemes currently being discussed include: Engineering, Machine Design; Making 3D Models with CAD Systems; Mechanical maintenance junior engineer; and Energy Auditor.
For your information, MDE study program at the Undip Vocational School is a study program that has a strong commitment to becoming a superior and international class applied undergraduate study program through the provision of applied education that prioritizes the ethics of science and technology in the field of mechanical design engineering by 2025. This study program is divided into 3 concentrations, namely: solid mechanical; Thermal Fluid and Treatment. The implementation of the 4 schemes proposed by the MDE study program will certainly further strengthen the position of the MDE study program as a Vocational Study Program that is able to answer the challenges of the times.
